They are looking for a way back to someone. A marriage where the two of you stopped talking about anything that matters. A kid who answers in one word. A friendship that went quiet and nobody knows how to break the silence.
That is the room Pastor Anthony preaches to every Sunday. Not a room of experts. A room of people who love God and are still working out how to love the people in their house.
So the teaching stays practical. Real scripture, plain language, and something you can actually do this week. You do not need a church background to follow it, and you will never be asked to pretend you have it all together to belong here.

He has done almost every job in a church, starting with the mop.
Before there was a pulpit, there was a bucket. He rehearsed sermons while he cleaned the bathrooms, and preached to an empty sanctuary when he was supposed to be vacuuming it. He has served in nearly every facet of ministry since, from janitor to church planter.
That is why nothing here is built to impress you.
Why this church exists.
The calling was confirmed in college, where Anthony started Bible studies, prayer, and small groups. People kept showing up, and they kept saying the same kinds of things. They missed home. They did not know which direction to take. They wanted somebody to actually know them. Years later, working as a teacher and then an assistant principal at an inner city school, he heard the same thing from a different set of faces.
That is the whole reason this church is built the way it is. Not around a stage, around a table. If you walk in here on a Sunday and nobody learns your name, we have missed the assignment.
The church was almost called something else. The plan was GAP, short for Going After Purpose. Then he woke out of a dead sleep with one word sitting on him: intentional. He woke Regina, told her, and she said do it and went right back to sleep. He changed the name the next morning.
The first meeting was about twenty people in a small cafe in Acworth, Georgia, with a small band, where he and Regina laid out the vision for a church that would be multicultural, multigenerational, and modern. Intentional Church opened in 2022 and turns four on October 11, 2026.
